I would like to see a 2 seater built around thie rotax 915 powerplant bigger and faster than the RV 12. I see a number of 200 mph planes out of europe using this engine. Retractable gear would be nice and a build time of 500-700 hours.
range should be similar to RV14 or more due to the low fuel consumption
Work the hopper into the fuel system, and you'd have some absolutely ridiculous range and endurance. Assuming that's an 802 and 400lbs/hr fuel burn, that's about 17 hours! Heck it has more fuel than the my day job Dash 8. Although I don't want to pay the fuel bill.
