Rv-12iS fuel pump replacement

The Van's SB corresponding to the Rotax SB contains no information on replacement. And the original Rotax SB said that an authorized service center can replace them. But it also said that "This exchange program and cost sharing is valid until August 1, 2019. Up to this date limited reimbursement of costs can be applied for."

That's clear as mud. The expiration date was almost three years before the SB was even issued?

What's the proper procedure here?

Bob, basically you call Lockwood to put your name on their list. They'll call you when they're ready to service your pumps. Mail out the pumps when they call. They fix them within 1-2 days and mail back.

You can watch me struggle:
Removal
Re-Install

The textual description of all that is: Remove electrical connectors to the assembly (main pump, aux pump, fuel pressure sender), unscrew the two fuel fittings (aux pump output. fuel assemble input), remove the 6 AN525 in the baggage bulkhead, remove the assembly, remove two hose clamps. Then reverse it all to re-install.

Lockwood will invoice you only for the shipping back to you. ($15 to NJ). I believe in their shop, they are replacing the actual pumps, stubby rubber hoses, and associated clamps.
