Electronic trim control problem

Hi ! I try to find a tread of anything about it but,.... i didnt find !
I have a rv8 c-glbv from montreal canada
I have an issue with the electronic trim control
When i try to change position of trim tab in a continue path after 2-3 seconds it made trip the overload i have to reset all com switch!
If i adjust it by small pulse it works! The switch seems to work properly small electric motor too ! I open it to ser if anything was kinda broke but it's all good!
If anyone can help me i will really apreciate!

I would suggest that you first determine if it's a mechanical or an electrical issue. You could disconnect the clevis pin on the trim motor to the trim tab, then make sure that the trim tab moves freely. If it binds, then that could be your problem. If it's free, then you've likely narrowed it down to an electrical issue.

Does your trim motor have a relay? Are all of the connections good?
 
trim servos are taking about 250 milliamps of current it will not trip any of the
standard breakers we use unless motor inside is destroyed.
Most likely this is a short somewhere
what airport you based at?
