2000 hours

N174RT crossed 2000 Hobbs hours on Sunday. 11 years and a handful of days after her first flight.

A few highlights from the 11 years:

GREAT FRIENDS that are like family that we have made through the RV community.

Flying across the country ON OUR SCHEDULE from Hillsboro, OR to Dover DE to see 1st grandchild when she was 5 days old. From coast to coast in 1.5 days.

Flying to Homestead FL, joining 8 other planes (7 RV’s) and flying to St Kitts, Grenada, and St. Croix with Rosie's group in 2017.

Enabling commuting between Hillsboro OR and S.V. Tranquility on Orcas Island, WA, 2 hours door to boat instead of 8+ hours by car and ferry.

Multiple trips to Oshkosh.

Five trips to the Pettit Jean fly in, each time recognized as flying the farthest distance.

Keep pounding those rivets!

Regards,

Difference Between Tach & Hobbs

Almost 350 hours between the two - why so much. Mine differ, but over 1400 hours only 60 or so hours.

No criticism here, just wondering what "drives" their starting point.

Thanks

Tach/Hobbs delta

Dave,

I THINK startup, taxi, waiting for clearance, etc., all near idle speed does not accumulate TACH time.

Roy and Sandy,
Congrats! KELLI GIRL isn't too terribly far behind: 1471.7 hobbs hours since April 2015. Fly safe, and we'll see y'all at OSH or PJ.
