Copper vs. Graphite Spark Plug Antiseize

I would presume it's application temperature to prevent it from flowing and creeping down the threads to short the plug

Interesting, and confusing at the same time..

I have used both, but switched to the graphite several years ago because its less messy to me. I have changed a zillion plugs in my 42 years of aviation, and have never heard of this Lycon requirement, and I sure whish it specified "Why." Time to scratch around and see if this has been in other Lycon manuals for years..I'm interested in others opinions/experience. I know in airframe maintenance(my specialty), graphite and aluminum touching each other is a no-no and can lead to dissimilar corrosion, so I suspect that may be Lycons theory.
