bottom of wing to center section screws

Question about the eight screws that hold the center section skin to the wing,are the holes countersunk or dimpled.the plans seem a little sketchy.Also got a great tip from Gus at Vans for drilling the bottom holes.Use a 12 inch drill bit and a mirror and drill from the hole in the top of the wing and drill thru the rib and out thru the skin.No need to measure and drill in the blind.#40 bit and slightly reem out the top hole so you can move the bit around.Gets drilled out to #19 later for the # 8 screws

Yes, they get dimpled on both skins - wing and center fuselage skin.



Wings will get countersunk nutplates added. You can see the marks I put on the wing skin 3 inches back from the holes and used this to find the prepunched holes that get hidden by the center section skin.
