Cheap but good wobble extensions.

$15 bucks right now for a total of 9 pieces and surprisingly good quality (made in Taiwan). These are way better than regular extensions or universal joints; these allow the socket to wobble just enough to fit into a somewhat tough location without moving all over the place.

I picked up a set a few years ago. It's the only extensions I use now.

Another happy customer here... I picked up a set of these a couple years ago to work on my Audi quattro and have used them many times since then on mine and my friends' RVs. I also bought a set of HF's universal joint adapters and almost never use those.

Mine is 40 yrs old, but still works great, it is my standard 3/8" extension. Can also be used with impact swivel to get some extreme angles - NOT WITH IMPACT, only with hand wrench.

I had been borrowing this beautiful piece from my hangarmates toolbox for two years before discovering the Harbor Freight source. Waited a few weeks and sure enough they went on sale for under 10 bucks. I bought sets for me and my sons.
