Float unit to sender connection…

Seems pretty loose. Are we supposed to add glue to the float wire? Mine is in there but it is somewhat loose and rotates with little force.

I suspect you forgot to put in the ~3/4” 90 degree bend in the end of the float wire that goes into the sender bracket center hole (in other words, you put two bends in the float arm, not just the one).

You will not be the first…..

It is noted in the float sender package documentation as to how to install the sender. Not a Vans product , no Vans documents on how to install. Call support, read once they had new wire they give/sell. Float only in Vans webstore, and Aircraft Spruce. Others have in past made there own from welding rods. Search here “floats” title only and you'll find. Good luck
