Quite a few guys on here use the E.I. UBG-16 EMS, which has a box data goes to....( MUX-8A data recorder)
I have the panel switch to download, but not the funny 4mm plug and serial cable that is required.
before I pony up $60 for one, and then another serial to USB converter, or try to wire my own ( smoke likely) has anyone found or made a slick serial plug to USB connection that is simple, works, and doesn't require an old laptop?
....please help the electronically challenged with your wisdom!
