Default Tip Up Canopy Weatherstrip

Need recommendations for weatherstripping where the rear of a tip up canopy meets the support bar. There was worn out felt there that needed to be replaced. Picture attached to show area.

Thanks

I found this to work well for my tipper; silicone d-shaped seal. Adhesive backing.

+1 Good seal, actually a tear drop, - same as Vans recommends/sells. Be sure the use by date has not expired for the adhesive. I tested it for the dynamic pressures to Vne and it did not leak.

I don't have room across the plexiglass, made it too tight.

Default Adhesive

WJB, do you find the adhesive stays attached to the weatherstripping, I bought some stuff from Home Depot recommended in another post but I find the adhesive unglued from the weatherstripping itself.

You likely got expired product, this what happens. Quality product will have the expiration date - if not - don't buy it.
