New Garmin EFIS

I'm just about to the place where it's time to call Stein and order a bunch of Garmin stuff, as I'm ready to start installing, but I was noticing that the G3X touch is 7 years old this month.

I wonder if it makes sense to delay until after OSH. Anyone know if whatever is next in the pipeline is months or years away? I don't think the G3x touch will be abandoned since they certified it last year, but I'd be bummed if I bought stuff and a month later something with a better display and higher resolution came out.

No, but what may happen is they come out with the new processor like they did with the GTN series devices. It would really help. The G3X refresh rate is painfully slow in some cases.
