Whirlwind Aviation Prop Leading Edge

Has anybody seen something like this on a brand new Whirlwind Aviation prop leading edge?

There is one imperfection on each blade at the same position. Also, on the tip of one of the blades, it almost looks like a crack that was stop drilled on both ends and filled.

This is a brand new prop that has been flown about 30 min.

Looked at mine...don't see anything similar.

Checked mine, I don't have these holes. I bought my 200RV in 2011

Must be something in the electrodeposition process. That does not seem consistent with the WW product history, have you contacted them about a replacement?

During the initial response from them after seeing the pics, there was no mention of a replacement. Still waiting on another call back. We'll see how things play out over the next few days.

could have been to add or remove weight for balancing.
