I have 90 hrs in the Rocket. Zero claims and it $1300 more than last year. Might be time to sell it and just keep my Husky. Its a lot of work keeping 2 planes perfect. Husky is only $1500
Ladd Gardner is the agent its a good policy just expensive

Before everyone else starts comparing numbers for their RV’s, note that this is in the Rocket Sub-forum, and they’re talking about Rocket numbers…..

Higher Performance=Higher Cost

Yup, things haven’t changed much. My HR2 cost nearly exactly twice to own and operate than my RV4, hasn’t changed apparently.
Worth it, you betcha!

Ladd is the broker? Do you know which insurance company that's from? My broker, for the last 6 years, has only been able to get one company to submit a quote, and it's always been USAIG.

Renewed in November with 160k hull for $4985 with US Specialty. There was one or two other quotes that were lower but they would not insure me for racing events.

Nutty insurance industry, names mean so much, eh?

Super-8, 3500 PIC, 178 TW, 57 in model: $1524 for 1M/100k and $150k hull, Global through Gallagher.
