Installing sensenich prop on o-320

The larger diameter on my prop lug "zero" extends 1/4" past the flywheel preventing my propeller from mating up. Could I have a lug that is made for a thicker prop flange, or am i just missing something?

One hole in the prop is often just a bit larger, this is to index the prop.

Check each hole with a pair of calipers------you will most likely find one that fits the prop lug.

Thanks Mike

I did that. All holes in the prop are 5/8". I have another position zero lug and it also has a shoulder 1/2" high which is about .200 too much. I'll give sensenich a call and see what they say. I'm starting to get tempted to turn the extra height off which would allow me to clock the prop however I like. Thoughts?

Reference this Lycoming document and it will give you the right prop drive bushings for your prop flange.

Service Instruction No. 1098G.
