Covers for front of cowl side hinges

Rupester

Well Known Member
Today I saw some nice teardrop-shaped, stainless (chrome?) covers for the very front of the side cowl hinges. No one could recall exactly who they got them from, but were quite sure it was someone in Canada. They fasten with two screws - the bottom one goes thru the tab on the front of the hinge pin. Anybody know who makes 'em?

Thanks, Andy. BTW, does a baby come with all the cowl hinge cover plates? That could get expensive from a maintenance standpoint! :)

Aerosport Products sells them for many of the RV models.

A year (or more) ago I emailed Aerosport Products to inquire about these covers for my 9A. They hadn't made them yet for anyone but quickly got a set machined for me. They look great! I haven't been able to send them a photo of them installed yet because my cowl is still pink, and that's just embarrassing. :p

But I really like these covers.
