A few milestones at the 30 hour mark

- Balanced the prop with a borrowed Dynavibe. Amazing difference at both take-off power and cruise. Smooth as silk

- Did the GAMI test this morning and my Delta FF is 0.4 GPH. I am happy

- in the last few hours my oil consumption dropped from 1 qt per 5 hours to almost nothing.

This airplane keeps getting better and better

great to hear! How did you fly the first 10hrs or so - e.g. 25 squared or full throttle/prop or something else?

I have been running at 25 squared until very recently but my temps were all fine so I was able to lean to 150 ROP to save on gas after the first few hours. I was starting To worry about oil consumption remaining high but it improved significantly in the last 5 hours. I will continue to run at relatively high power settings until I stop seeing improvement in oil usage.
