My son and I, along with a RV-4 neighbor, flew down to Crystal River, FL to get scuba certified this past weekend.

Nice FBO and convenient location. Dive school only about a mile away and car rental came and picked us up at airport. It was just down the road from the dive school. Hotels and restaurants close by also. Everything very convenient.

The airport cat was named "Tailhook". His tail got caught in a car door and the tip is permanently bent.

Very nice 2 hour flight instead of a 6 hour drive. Gotta love it.

Congratulations on your certifications!

Key West & the Bahamas are only 1 1/2 RV hours away from CGC with great diving.

I hope you took advantage of the Dairy Queen on the north gate .

Just be careful with the combination of depth and altitude. It's given me the tingles in joints a couple times....
