Continental engine

I've seen an IO-360 Conti in a 6A...was for sale a while ago, but don't know what happened to it. Might still be on Barnstormers to get contact info...:)

IO-360 Continental on RV-6A

:)Saw this older thread and admit I've not seen a Continental on a RV except for mine.. It's a IO-360 with low compression pistons, runs fine on Mo-gas, smooth, and a wood prop. WHEN TURBO'D, it's 210hp@2800 rpm. Mine has the turbo removed, but still has low comp. pistions (7.5:1) so I'm not sure what the HP is. I'd like to know if anyone has an idea;).

I would guess you have somewhere around 185-190hp with 7.5:1 pistons. This data sheet shows the IO-360-B Conti with 6.5:1 pistons at 180hp...

and 8.5:1 at 195hp...interpolation suggests 185-190 to me.
