Aileron bell crank / push tube installation

I’m getting ready to install the bellcranks, push tubes , and perform the aileron rigging.

Is it better to do this with the wings in the racks or on a flat surface?

Right now, everything is in the racks and very accessible, so I’m leaning that direction.

Thanks

I put my wings in a rack with the bottom sides facing out. This allowed me to run conduit and install the aileron bellcranks.

I ended up installing and removing those bellcranks several times before I got the bushings exactly right.

I did have to take the wings out and lay them on a table, bottom side down, so that I could make the cutouts and install the leading edge landing lights.

I rigged mine in their wing stands, and then checked/adjusted them once the wings were final-installed to the fuselage.
