What are we looking at here, Steve

You painted the sky?

Seriously, can't see much of the paint job. Post more pix, please.

trust me, it's nice. a least the photo has an RV wingtip! of course I had to power back my 320 against his 360. the pilot with the new paint is 82 yrs young and his planned flying list this year is longer than my arm. if he does it, it will put me to shame.

fuel at KBFR 100LL = 3.60 / gal

it a very nice place to visit and has two runways.

Bedford Paint Shop

Steve thanks for posting Bedford paint shop. Had no idea that there was a paint shop just 30 miles north of us. I'll stop in and check it out. Maybe this year we'll be able to meet at French Lick, IN again for the Fish Fry.

What's the name of the shop? Do they have a website?

Thanks.

I think their name is something unique like "Aircraft Painters", or something like that. Call the FBO at KBFR and they will give you their phone number. I was just the escort pilot.

I've never been a fan of white, cars or airplanes, but my sports car is that same metallic pearl and that's completely different than "white".

I love that color but it's hard to apply well. That plane looks like the painter did a great job.

Nah, the RV-15 is a tailwheel!

Ummm... that's a Glastar. Easily converts its landing gear configuration. Take your pick, tailwheel or trike. Maybe trike in the morning then tailwheel in the afternoon.

On the never-ending RV15 thread I've suggested that Glasair with the Sportsman has pretty much of everything that most folks have expressed on their wish list, except price point and "all aluminum and pre-punched".

That paint job looks terrific and the price point makes me wonder why I even tried to paint my own aircraft!
