Aileron contersinking

Hi,

I'm doing the ailerons now.

The manual says: "Machine countersink the holes in the counterbalance pipe. The countersink need not be 120? to match that of the rivet heads. The .020" skin and the aluminium blind rivet will deform sufficiently to countour to a 100? contersunk hole."

The rivets to be used there are CS4-4.

I have a doubt: do I need to dimple the leading edge skin at these locations? I believe yes but the sentence in the manual gives me the doubt...

Same thing for the CS4-4 rivets to be used to rivet the bottom of the leading edge to bottom skin to spar: these holes need to be dimpled as well??

Thanks,
Alain.

When I pop rivet the skin to the tube - I cs the tube - dimpled the alu - and then pop rivet in place ... using the standard cs cutter and dimple dies ...

Worked fine on my 6 ... I can send you some photos when I get home later on today if you like ...
