Trim Tab position???

As noted below in my posting of yesterday. I have completed assembling my trim tab assembly and while test fitting it, I find that the bottom of the trim tab assembly touches the fiberglass of the tail cone. Also when assembled and the stabulator in resting on the 'down' stops the trim tabs are raised 5/8" 'up'. By 'up', I mean they are above the surface of the horizontal stabulator.

I'll call Van's tomorrow but can somebody out there advise me today as to what position their trim tabs are when the stabilator in resting against the 'down' stops. Please advise asap. Thanks

I believe section G2 of the PAP will give you the dimensional checks you?re looking for.
