Bummer, my 9 empennage arrived today...only to find out it was
for the 7. Hope this was not trying to tell me something.
Vans said the right emp is on the way.
 
Take it as a sign, build the 7. :)

(I was planning on building a 9A, then found a deal I simply couldn't refuse on a partially completed 7A. My justification for the 7 vs. 9 decision evaporated quickly.)
 
Yeah, go ahead. Somebody needs to put a 7 tail on a 9. I like the looks of the tapered tail better anyway. :)
 
Still Gonna Be a 9

Second empennage, supposed to be for a 9, will be here Thursday.
Vans has not informed me what to do with the 7 emp as of yet.
Vans was great on fixing the problem. What's a couple more days
at this stage.
