Anybody out there using RG-316 coax for anything?
If you are not familiar with 316, it is the (very) small cable (.100" dia.) used by uAvionix for the short "pigtail" on their ECHO ads-b out unit.
If any of you are using it, and made the end connections yourself, what crimp tool did you use? I have purchased two (cheap ones) so far, that are advertised as being suitable - not! I can probably "kluge" something together to make it work, but would just as soon get it done properly.
I considered checking with uAvionix, except I see that the exact same "pigtail" is available on Amazon - so I am guessing they outsource this item.
Any help is appreciated.
