AOA PIREP req

Could anyone flying with the GRT Sport give a pirep on the aoa function? I checked the archives and saw a thread from sometime back about the development and initial testing. How is it working?

I have the Sport as my primary EFIS and a Dynon D6 as backup. I am trying to decide if I should untilize the AOA feature of the D6, which would require me to obtain a Dynon AOA Pitot tube in lieu of the heated gretz that I have ready to install.

Using the D5 AOA function has some appeal because it has audio warning whereas the GRT Sport does not.

Any information would be appreciated.

Thanks

I have a GRT Horizon with the AOA enabled, as well as a D6 with Dynon pitot and, again, AOA enabled. Both seem to work okay, but I far prefer the D6 with its audio alert wired into the audio panel, as I am as 'heads up' as possible on landing approach.
