Non-silicone, non-proseal adhesive?

Hi there,

I'm mounting Van's nylon conduit in my wings, and I believe I'm supposed to add an adhesive bead between the conduit and ribs to prevent chafing. So far I've seen silicone RTV and proseal recommended.

The problem is that proseal would be a real pain (and overkill methinks), and the silicone will "ruin my paint job forever".

Is there a good general purpose one-part adhesive that I can use for these miscellaneous tasks? Maybe a urethane adhesive like this:

It would be nice to use something with a known service history if possible.

Thanks,
David

Ruin the paint job on the inside of your wings? Hmmmm.
One of the shoe goo products will work fine. Also known as E5000 in some stores

West marine and other marine supply houses are a good place to look.
