Dynon engine monitor announced

Good news!

I plan on using both their engine monitor and EFIS in my -9 and it looks like they are going to offer a package deal if you buy both.

Radomir, are you a member of 309? Are you going to the meeting tonight?

This looks very nice.

From the brochure, there are 3 "general purpose" voltage or resistive inputs. I expect these could be used for trim/flap position, but I'm not sure if the display supports that. Anybody have any idea? That's a nice feature that is on the ACS 2002, but I haven't seen on other engine monitors.

And it mentions support for capacitive fuel senders, but doesn't mention if an external adapter is required like the other engine monitors.

Dynon ENgne Monitor and Capacitive Senders

Using capacitive senders with the new Dynon engine monitor requires an adapter just like the ACS2002 unit. Like the ACS2002, the Dynon unit expects a 0-5vdc input. Dynon does not have a recommended converter at this time.
