AST Linkage Wear

On condition inspection at 300 hours noticed too much play in AST. Disassembly revealed slight wear in the AN23-15 screws in the pushrod assembly, enough to make them a slightly loose fit. See photo here.

Grooves in screw almost invisible, but detectable with calibrated thumbnail. Another good thing to check on preflight and at annual time

Thanks for the tip...what about wear on the bearing part? Looks like stuff to figure for "timed" replacement every 300 hours. (Have parts on hand)..

Please post the plans page number.

Interesting. I'm at 290 hrs and no play at all yet. Sure something to watch, tho.
