Celebrating us finally getting around to planning a party after finally getting around to getting married! :D Hoping you can join us for some BBQ and good times. Also posted to the VAF calendar.

Note: Marcellus is a private airport, you will be landing at your own risk. PM me for further details.

Fly-In/Drive-in Barbecue starts at noon, rain date will be on Sunday 9/6. Camping is available on the field. We will use the RSVP site to manage all of the notifications of rain, etc... so please sign up (below pic)!

andy, it is on my ical. looks like an easy hour flight west. congrats to a great couple. we were wondering when you will need a four seater.:)

Field is ready

Grass was great today!

We'll have plenty of food, come on over! Stop to fill up on some BBQ and keep on flying!

Notes:
1. Mercy flight is based on the field, give way to them at all times and monitor CTAF for their movements.
2. R/C traffic On the northeast side of the field. They stay clear of the "full scale" runway, but be on the lookout!

Thanks for a great time

My buddy Randy (navy paint '8) and I (the only '4 on the field) flew in to meet some folks, look at airplanes and enjoy the vibe. Thanks to Andy and Allison for some extraordinarily scrumptious BBQ and a warm welcome.

Hope you all had safe flights home, and we see you again down the road somewhere soon,
