Close Quarters Dimple Tool

Many of you have this handy tool by Cleaveland. I have used it in m any situations where nothing else would work. You may have also broke all the mandrills included in the kit....like me. Don't fret. Replacement mandrills are as close as your local Ace Hardware in the Aviation Tools section.

These fit a #40 drill hole and only break if you use your gorilla grip and grab the mandrill twice, which, I found, is not necessary to create an acceptable dimple.

One pound will last you for 10-15 airplanes which makes this tool a contender for the least expensive tool in your arsenal.

I love my pop rivet dimple tool. Don't use it all that frequently, but when it's needed, it's really needed.

Have used nails as replacements for 20-years. IF the nail you get does not work, try another manufacturer. Have seen some nails the same size that work and others that do not work.
