What did you do with your RV this weekend? (5/7/2022 - 5/8/2022))

Did a trial fit with the new twins, it’s gonna take another tie down or 2 and remove the O2 clamps.

Not mine, and on Thursday, but borrowed an RV-10 to save 20 lives from death row in Boca Raton. Flew down from Maryland to Savannah and transferred them in Delaware for further transport to their furever homes in Massachusetts.

My co-pilot's first experience with PNP, he asked if I was sure I wanted to spend so much gas money on such a thing.

Yes. Yes I do.

For those who enjoy polished aluminum

Just finished up another round of polish and really like this pic so thought I would share it.

Superextrafantabulous!

Andy, you really make me question the need for a 4 seater for awhile! Lol

At this point I need something turbine powered with an aisle between the seats……
Although if the 15 is a 185 clone I’m in!

Don’t let go of that 6 easily…..

You are definitely going to want to install the super tracks mod on your slider. I am working on a similar mod for a childseat in the back of my 6, and it makes life so much easier to be able to pull the canopy all the way back and reach directly into the baggage area.

If you want multiple children anyway, twins are the biggest bang for the buck. I have fraternal girls, plus 3 others, so I really need that Cherokee 6, or even better, a friend with a Cherokee 6 :D

Pacific to Atlantic

I did Santa Catalina Island (KAVX) to Newport News Virginia (KPHF) by way of the Grand Canyon and everything in between. Andy are you bringing the twins to Idaho? :)

Having trouble posting the Grand Canyon picture, so imagine a really big hole with lots of rocks.

It's beautiful.

I like polished aluminum...if it's not my airplane ;)

Most of my RV weekend time was spent cleaning, buffing, and waxing paint, and yes, polishing aluminum...thankfully gear legs only. Happens every year about this time, after all the d*** pollen stops falling in the South.

Aftermath perspective from the Beer Chair...

Untainted123, the super tracks would be a nice but so far I’ve modified everything to fit stock. I’ve been eyeing 300-6’s for a while, I’m afraid I missed my window though.

Marvin, twins might make Idaho more adventurous than I can handle.
Currently my oldest and lil’ Dude are both calling dibs on the copilot seat………not sure who’s gonna win.

Bud, maybe we should partner on a 10 build at your place!

Weekend flight

Nothing like a Hemet flight with fellow RV’rs

Not Quite the weekend, but close enough...

This Weekend marked the final weekend I had to study for my final skills checkoff for the semester of RN school. Today, I was able to finally get back in to shop for some one on one time with my RV-8 project!

Whoa. Cool. Trip report, or at least routing and layovers?
