Borescope cylinder

Just wondering what the latest scoop is on a borescope for looking at valves.

Since selling Aurora I purchased a '58 Cessna 182 to allow a little cheap flying and my daughter is getting her private pilots cert in it. But a low cylinder compression and squeal coming from the exhaust has me in investigation mode.

So looking for a cheap Borescope that works with my Iphone to take a peek.

This one actually worked, but you also need the $100 WiFi adapter for Apple phones/ ipads etc. YMMV.

The one mentioned above (Vividia VA-400) works well and can plug into a Windows machine via USB, which is how I use it. It is a bit on the delicate side but if used carefully, should provide years of use.

Available for less $$ from other online sites.
