Fourth time is the charm! Roy and I tried three times to make it to Forks - S18 for breakfast or lunch. All three times, the airport was socked in with fog. “Naturally the airport is socked in.” I explained to my husband. The third time I explained Forks is where the Vampires live, I tried not to sound exasperated. Declining to watch the Twilight films with me and my daughters was a poor excuse for not knowing this important Pacific Northwest fact.
Anyway…. We walked the short distance to Blakeslee’s Bar and Grill for a great, if a bit pricey, dinner. Lovely flight there and back.
The fog rolled in as we left the restaurant and we made due hast, least the vampires catch us.
