Bahamas on short notice

Got a little bored on New Years Eve (Sunday night) in Kansas City and the temperature forecast was freezing or below for the next week so we decided to plan a trip to the Bahamas. It's a little hard to do on a holiday when everything down there is sold out but I managed to find a duplex available at Casuarina Point in the Abacos.

Less than 24 hours later we were in Ft. Lauderdale preparing for our departure to Marsh Harbour Tuesday morning.

Great trip report Andy.
Great little machines we have where you can be in the middle of the country freezing, then 24 hours later, on a nice warm beach in another country.

No airline reservations to make, just an impulsive desire to get out of Dodge and act on it.

I was just looking at Bahamas Flying Videos on YouTube yesterday and I feel an adventure coming on! I just need to figure out that water ditching procedure for my slider.
