Raleigh area builders

Well I finally did it, went out and got a fast built RV-8 kit. It’s been a long time in the thought process but I finally made it happen. Just wondering if there might be any RV builders in the Raleigh, NC area, I’m sure I’ll be needing some technical and moral support. Real excited to get going and glad to be part of the RV crew.

EAA Chapter 1114 in Apex has a number of active builders and RV completions.

Raleigh Executive Jetport (KTTA) just down the road (US 1) in Lee County is home to a dozen or so flying RV's. Terry Garner runs an Experimental Completion Center...located on the south end of the field. It is next to the Wings of Carolina Flying Club.

Terry has built several RV's, rebuilds different Certified aircraft, and I believe he still rents out space in his shop to builders. He is a great help for those just getting started in the build process. He is also an A&P with IA.
