Solder splash -- how to remove

Howdy:

Like a dummy I forgot to place something protective under the area I was working when soldering and lo and behold a drip of molten solder hit the copilot footwell floor.

The floor was primed/painted so the solder hit the paint first but I'm assuming it worked its way deeper...

Anyone have any smart tips to remove the solder?

Thanks in advance!

Logan,
I would heat up and wipe up with rag while hot.
Use a welding glove if you have one.

Then touch up paint

Not to sound funny but have you tried to brush the splatter off? I've never had it actually stick to anything when it splats like that.

Agree. I just tap it and it pops right off. Or use a vacuum and do both at the same time. Bits of solder are not good FOD.
