Panel blank 1" longer than standard?

I found a website somewhere that offered slider panel blanks (non-modular) for -9's that were 1" longer than standard. I have looked and looked but cannot find it again (I'm sure there is more than one). Can someone point me if the right direction?

I seem to recall there was a note on the website page saying something like "we can't imagine why anyone wouldn't want a modular panel, but we're offering non-modular blanks anyway." Or something like that. Does this ring a bell for anyone?

Thanks for the help.

Greg, are you looking for 1" higher or wider?

If higher for more vertical space, just call Van's. They will cut & bend one for you--they have done it at least a couple times before.

Build your own panel

Greg,

Take a look at my web page on how I used the original panel from Van's as the structural member, then made my own sub panels from a surplus road sign. http://www.n2prise.org/rv9a035.htm

Here is the finished panel as it appeared on January 20, 2005.

That photo is posted on this page. http://www.n2prise.org/rv9a087.htm You can see how I installed all my main switch/breakers on small panels BELOW the removable panels.

Here is the view of the panel installed in the airplane four days later.

Check with Affordable Panels.

Having done some changes (added an autopilot) after I was flying, it was so easy to take out just one section of the panel, cut the hole, wire, and put it back together.
