Doug Reeves posted a link to a Paul Revere story yesterday. September 10. This is how I got the name for my RV8.
Paul Revere borrowed a horse to make his famous ride. I think our history is interesting.
Thank you Doug for sharing the link. I hope many will read it.

Good read...
Don't remember that much detail from HS......but that was a few years ago!

I wondered about the name Borrowed Horse, but thought it refered to the plane being built well and lasting a long time and eventually will belong to someone else, thus a borrowed ride.

According to this source, the famous horse was owned not by John Larkin, but by his father – if true, this would mean that not only did Revere ride a borrowed horse, but a borrowed, borrowed horse.

So, technically, Jay should have named his plane, Borrowed, Borrowed Horse?

The Freedom Trail walk in Boston (including the Revere House) is a worthwhile adventure....no matter what transportation one borrows to get there.
