Zaon XRX to Garmin 495

Hi Folks,

I need to connect my new Zaon XRX to my Garmin 495 but Zaon the manual doesn't tell you information about DB-15 pin number so you must buy their wire. I don?t want to buy it because I have everything integrated in my panel and I will be just buying to know wish wire goes where.

Please help;)
 
Call them

OOPS - I guess that's a pretty expensive call from Chile. Maybe you should get Skype! I will look it up for you if nobody provides the answer sooner.

I called Zaon and they gave me the pin-outs. I don't have them here, but probably can look them up in a few days. After that, look for my older post about how to configure your Garmin and your Zaon to talk to each other OK. It is a little odd, but when you get it right, it works. I have mine talking to both my '496 and my GRT.
 
PIN 2 DATA OUT, and PIN 5 GROUND per Zaon Tech Support.

That is all you need. The power on a separate plug.
