Starter kit question

I recieved my starter kit yesterday and fully admit its a little early to be confused but the hole spacing on the rib do not match the skin. Has anybody else had this happen?
 
My experience has been that if something doesn't line up properly, then I've most likely got something upside down or backward...

Yeah. It was the wrong rib. The second time, it was just that there was no hole. The third time it was the wrong rib. The fourth time, it was the wrong rib. The fifth time, it was the same rib from the third time but this time it was primed, so it wasn't marked ;). The sixth time, I'd rigged everything up way too tight and didn't shave off lead where I was told to. Repeat ad nauseum.
