It's been about a month since I've been able to do any RV'Ating, semi last minute plans put PennyPie and I airborne at 11:30 after church-preflight-fueling-visiting with airport dudes-etc. We were converging with rdoerr01 enroute to 3O9 for lunch, ADSB traffic is so awesome as we were able to vector ourselves for a joinup. Meanwhile my co-pilot is busy with her new sunglasses, this is one of the few pics where they aren't upside down.

Several shots around Grand Lake.

Unfortunately the restaurant on the dock closed after Labor Day, fortunately Hangar Kafe was only 20 RVminutes away!

Afterwards the Pie and I removed the cowl, looked for a nonexistent induction leak on #2, changed oil and gave the FWF a once over, had a popcicle, checked the tire pressures, cleaned Windows and removed bug splatter and finally mixed the #6 screws with the #8 screws and timmerman washers in their previously separate tupperwares. 3 states total and less than $100 for gas and an excellent fried chicken lunch!

That's so cool, always nice to see the next generation getting some experience in the air.

It's too bad more women don't stick with flying, at my work we have several women who flew at one time, but haven't in many years. It's a shame IMO that more don't stick with it.

Looks like your off to a good start though.
