Eastern Canada Gathering of RV's - The Pics
Hello all on VAF !
Today was the first Eastern Canada Gathering of RV's at St-George-de-Beauce, Quebec, Canada (CYSG). Since I was the originator of the forum thread that made this public on VAF, as a follow up, I am starting a new thread where people can share pictures of this event.
Originally, I understood that the Beauce Flying Club, organiser of this event, had only published it on French Canadian forums. Well, they didn't know the VAF social networking power, and told the crowd there they were surprised to see RVers flying in from Nova Scotia, Ontario or even the USA to attend this beautiful Saturday RV and Hot dog RV networking event in Quebec. I believed I heard 50-60 airplanes of all types, RV and others, showed up for the event. For a moment on that airfield, it felt like a "mini-Oshkosh" !
Maybe an experience to repeat next year ?
I will share some of my pictures from this event. Please feel free to do the same if you attended !

RV Gathering organisers distributing gifts from Van's Aircraft and Vansairforce. One organiser admitted that when he contacted Van's Aircraft for sponsorship goodies, he expected to get nothing. He told us how surprized he was from Van's Aircraft support for this event.

What a great group of folks, and a very active RV/Aviation community. We'll definitely be back to enjoy some more Quebecois hospitality this summer.
It's easy to get into Canada, but a little trickier to come back to Les Etats-Unis (especially after recalculating the W&B after the Poutine)...they scanned the Yellow Peril with a geiger counter...(?)
I'll be speaking comme un vrai Quebecois toute suite!!
