Let me put my opinion in here. Yes that is my vent and it is no longer made or available. It was machined from a solid block of aluminum and made to a very high standard. When I retired my vent guy did too so once the supply was gone there was no more. I have a couple of them and have been thinking about contacting Steve Melton about making them. When that vent is placed in the right area it really works well. Larry Vetterman
Glad you chimed in Larry - these are beautifully made little things - nothing wrong with them at all - I just wish I’d put them in a better location!

Thanks Paul. I actually had 2 models. The small ones were for RV type airplanes and the larger ones were for cub type airplanes. Yes I have 2 of the smaller vents but they will be mounted in my panther so they’re not for sale. I’m thinking a 3D printed unit would work however the tolerances are extremely close to make them work correctly. Maybe Steve Melton might see this post and chime in. Larry Vetterman

I thought I'll ask, one never knows..
I hate to see a great product go by the wayside so I am currently working with a couple companies in the aircraft world to get them made again. If that is successful they should be available again.
