Going to do it in the RV I built!

Honest Question
(At risk of showing my own ignorance) Is that DYNON approved for IFR Flight? Or just IFR Training? Or does it really matter?

Common question. The Dynon itself is not approved for IFR work by itself. However, the GNS-430W is and it feeds the HSI on the Dynon which is perfectly legal to do.

Since I can't afford the gas prices, @ $7.50G, I sat inside my plane closed my eyes and pretended I am flying.

Flew local for coffee and doughnuts and helped a friend give a pitch to a EAA chapter on building a RV homebuilt, then spent an hour with a Redbird 172 simulator trying to learn the G1000 as part of working on my instrument rating. Not quite as intuitive as I had hoped.

Day trip to KCGF
Nice day trip to Cleveland KCGF to have a visit with a cousin. Tasty pizza at Crostatas,a nice walk on the North Chagrin Nature Center trails and home for dinner...a productive day of RV-iating
