Cosmetic Transition on Windshield

I’m wanting to pretty up the transition between the windshield and the paint. I’m wanting to do this in black. This is purely cosmetic. The windshield is already bonded in place on a flying aircraft. Can I use a 3M Windshield Urethane Adhesive? Is that overkill? Just use a black caulking?
