Camera location and mount

What are some options and the best solution? Forward looking, under fuselage, wingtip toward pilot, for example.

Yes, all of those locations work well, but it depends on what your photographic goals are. I mount an Insta 360 on the topside of the wingtip, a GoPro on the the other wingtip, and another GoPro on the tail tie-down ring. I highly recommend a 360 camera like the Insta 360 or the GoPro Max for at least one of the cameras. My next project is a second mount on the wingtip for two-point mounting a selfie stick for the Insta 360. The best wingtip mount I’ve found, or any location where you have #6, #8, #10 screws (wingtip or inspection plates) is the Flight Flix line. https://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/avpages/rocksteadygopro11-15048.php

This site has good equipment, the pole mount for 3D camera, and allows you to consider power options. Batteries always run out so thinking of external power options, extended cables and locations. To answer your question directly, favorite mounts:
1. Upright stabilizer
2. Upper wing tip
3. Top cowl outside for rear cockpit view
4. Lower outside wing
5. Inside cockpit on seat rest
6. Rear seat mount
