Has anybody installed the ZL-8BP Electronic Breaker in their plane? Looks like a nice product but wondering what the real world experience is like....

Not sure why you would use one. It does not have enough capacity to replace the master contactor (due to starter current) and if you want an avionics master there are less expensive ways to have one.

What were you thinking of using it for?

He's looking at the 8-position switch/breaker panel, not the bus switch. Looks interesting; I'm looking forward to hearing from someone with some experience with them.

Yes. I was looking at the 8 position switch/breaker.

Looks like it could help clean up a panel pretty well but, as a new product, I was hoping to hear from someone who has installed and flown with it.

anyone get around to using one of these yet? seems like and interesting and cheaper alternative to a vp setup?
