Default Lycoming Dehydrator Plug

After a few Dehydrators posts and people asking for plug to fit oil fill on the Lycoming's, I found the file online to 3D print them. I won't charge anything for them because the file is free. I will out of my pocket pay shipping to get them to you. You pay Doug $15 and send me an address and I'll get it to you. I have around 15 - 20 on hand so it will be first come first served. Get them while they're Hot!!

A generous offer...thank you very much.

Which dehydrator plug is this? A year or two ago I had a buddy print up a Lycoming dipstick adapter plug for my OEM Lycoming IO-320. I had found it on Thingiverse. He did a beautiful job, but it didn't fit...wasn't a match for my particular dipstick tube. The file I sent him was at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3926583 . This adapter plug is 1 1/8 - 12 UNF. Is this the same plug?

That is the file I'm using. Are you sure he had it scaled right? It fits my YIO 390 perfectly. Dipstick tube is pn #75736. I'm happy to send you one, if it fits pay Doug, if not pass it down the line.

I'm also not sure if Lycoming has different size oil fill plugs or not, This will fit mine perfectly.

Default Dehydrator dipstick plug

I would love one.
Standard IO-360-M1B so it should fit.
Happy to donate.

Thanks Bill....no, not sure that he had it scaled right. I didn't even know that that was a thing. I'll PM you my contact info and give your's a try. I've been using a drilled #60 rubber stopper, which works OK, but does come loose every now and then.

I've printed this one with two different services, and one fit, the other didn't I can probably make it fit with a bit of filing. I think some 3d printers are more accurate than others.
