However, the GMC 307 uses a really nice pawl latch design which will help simplify the modification. Just get the opening 'close enough' and the pawl latches will clamp the unit onto the panel. Are these latches on the sides or top and bottom? Do you know the size of the cutout yet?

I am just about to pull the trigger on my new panel but was waiting for the Osh announcements and this would make a nice upgrade - but as space is critical I need to figure out if I can make it work with the extra .25" in height and if there is extra needed for the latches.

Where does one find the list of compatible third-party Mode S transponders?
