Default Method I used to attach F-799 Wing intersection fairings

After throwing away two botched F-799's and reading all the posts I could find (as well as talking to other builders and Vans), I think I stumbled upon an improved way to line up and mount the F-799's that improves the fit.

In addition to using clecos everywhere you can (including the tank to spar holes on top and bottom) as well as putting some prebend right at the leading edge location (I used a piece of 1-1/2" pipe), draw a thin sharpie line exactly 1/4" away from the root / inboard side of the tank skin. Then line up the prepunched holes on the F-799 with this line (while clecoed down everywhere you can) and drill the holes. When I did this, my F-799's seemed to fit / flow much better. Just thought I'd pass that tip along.
